in case you cannot see, the rearview mirror says 'objects in mirror are closer than they appear'. i wish our departure was closer than it appears. work is better, just to update those who have been following along. less chaos from above, now just chaos from within. EUROPE- 6 days

we are leaving sofie at amanda's grandparents' farm in iowa. the two of them leave tomorrow to start the journey. we are sad to be without our little gray bundle of joy for so long, as it will be almost a month before we go back to get her. luckily our minds will be otherwise occupied with travels, and she will enjoy the great outdoors and all it's splendor. they have several large dogs that get to roam and explore and swim. so, then, shall sofie.
