i spent the afternoon with my sister, and she had this hideous doll that apparently used to belong to one of my cousins. it was recently unearthed from storage and i fear that pandora's box may have been opened during it's resurrection. since i know you are wondering, yes, it is possessed by evil spirits.

i also got to spend time with two of my brothers last night, and sean and i shared a bed at my grandmother's house for the first time in years. which brings me to my point. sean was getting ready for bed and removed his jeans to reveal none other than what he calls his manties. these are not briefs, not boxers, not boxer-briefs, nor like any other undergarment that i have ever seen a man wear. aside from the fact that he calls them manties [which i laugh out loud about every time i think about how he said it], that really is about the best word one could use to describe them. comfortable, functional, yet stylish and elegant. i wish i had a picture to show for demonstration, but that would take us all down a dark road that i am not prepared to travel.

bk and lea ann were wed this saturday past. it was a very fitting service for the two of them. laid back, simple, fun, and straightforward. they are presumably in maine by now, enjoying their wedded bliss. ask bk about the midget strippers that showed up during the bachelor par-tay.

it was a nice weekend, filled with kidney stones, tales of stumping, friends, family, and the lovely scenery of tulsa. what more could a man ask for?
