this is my new tattoo. i got it today at First Amendment Tattoo Company here in the city. they were doing this promotion today through 94.7 the Buzz where, between 11:00 & 1:00, they were doing tattoos for $9.47. i got there at 9:30 & was the first in line, followed shortly after by andy & jenn. my tattoo artist was named boogy. the design is from the logo for moog synthesizers. i wanted to get something music related, not because i'm a musician or anything, just a representation of my insatiable thirst for sound lately. i figured it's better than a music note or something [that would be misleading] but not so recognizeable that it would be like i was getting a tattoo of the golden arches, etc. i got it on my forearm, just below the crease in the front of my elbow. that way it's visible when i want it to be, but can be easily concealed even if i have shirt sleeves rolled up. unfortunately, andy's plans didn't work out because they said that the design he wanted to do would take too much time & effort [to look good] for the $9.47 deal. most of the ones they had out to choose from were about the size of a quarter or smaller, & real simple. they actually told me that they would, then they wouldn't, then decided to do it anyway. i was lucky. jenn got a bass clef tattoo on her foot. all 3 of us have other tattoo plans that will hopefully be realized in the near future, but that were too big, or too intricate, etc. for today.

looks good, you lucky bastard.
Ever listen to any Moog Cookbook?
I imagine if you're a Bob Moog fan, you probably have. But I didn't want to keep you from a potential revelation.
